I recently had a double knee replacement and developed a thrombosis. The compression stockings given to me in the hospital here in Tokyo are hideous and uncomfortable. In the summer here it's regularly in the 90's and humid. These thigh high stockings are comfortable and supportive. The open toe allows my feet to breath and the silicone on the thighs isn't binding, the lace design is pretty and I have had many complements from friends, nurses and physical therapists. They may seem expensive but they are very durable and easy to wash. (Posted on 7/26/2016)

I was delighted to find that the thigh highs stay up much better than I expected. I purchased "It Stays" just in case, but have not needed it, even though washing the stockings everyday. (Posted on 12/15/2015)
